Myth busting

If you care, you’re halfway there.

Brilliant foster carers come from all walks of life. There’s no such thing as a “normal” family life. If you can give a child love and support in a stable family environment, you’re halfway to becoming a foster carer with us!

So, let’s bust a few myths and put your mind at rest.

You can foster if you:

  • Have a mental or physical disability
  • Identify as LGBTQ+
  • Don’t own your own home
  • Are in social housing
  • Work full time
  • Have your own children

Don’t rule yourself out! Again, what matters the most if providing security and love.

If you’re still not sure whether or not you can foster, contact us. Let’s chat.
